Cork is the bark of the Cork oak tree that mainly grows southwest Europe and northwest Africa. The cork that goes into our product is the waste product of making wine corks, so the remaining cork is ground into smaller pieces to make things like corkboard and soles for shoes and can also be mixed to make the cork spray

Cork Spray is lightweight, water resistant and provides thermal and acoustic insulation as well as being breathable and flexible. This means that with the product will expand and contract with the freeze thaw, so unlike stucco or paint it won’t crack or flake and has a manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years

Yes, we are the main distributors for Coverlink’s Cork Spray and we are looking for companies that want to incorporate our products into their services.

Cork Spray will create a coating that will prevent the degradation of your building facade, as well as saving money on energy bills and maninance free of your property. Also, Cork Spray will protect your building against the elements such as fire and water (water resistant).

PLC has 13 colours in stock, which include Natural, Brown, Olive, Hazelnut, Terra, Clay, Grey, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Sand, White, Whitish, and Black 

With Coverlink’s Cork Spray custom colours pigments can be added to give your home the desired look

Cork Spray is applied by trained applicators that use a special machine to spray the product into many interior or exterior surfaces

The process to become an applicator involves meeting with PLC to answer any question the contractor may have and to see if becoming an applicator is something that they would be interested in and then there is the training on how to properly prepare the surfaces and surrounding area before applying the product

Cork is a naturally flexible material that can expand,contract and shift with the structure that it is applied to

Coverlinks FR line of products are fire retardant making it a great product to apply to wood siding and other flammable building materials

Cork is naturally porous meaning that air and water can pass through the cork, this makes it ideal for exterior walls because trapped air and moisture can lead to mould growth.

Short answer yes, how much insulation value added would depend on whether just cork spray is being applied or if there is foam board insulation also being installed

As with paint the cork spray does fade but it does so at a slower rate than exterior paint would. Traditional paint fade 8 to10% a year while Cork Spray Fade 1 to 3%
