PLC-Missions

At PLC, we believe in 3 simple but important principles, sustainability, quality, and performance. Each of these 3 principles are interconnected and carry different levels of importance depending on the job or person. The following is why we try to incorporate each into every aspect of our company.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

We at PLC use and support sustainable and green building product whenever possible, trying to reduce our impact as much as possible because according to the Government of Canada 30% of Canada’s plastic waste and 12% of Canada’s total waste is created by the construction industry.

For us quality has 2 key aspects, first with the products but also in the workmanship. Each are as important as the other, you can use the worlds best materials but if not installed or applied correctly then the quality of the product won’t matter as much.

Performance to us is about the longevity and benefits of products. The benefits can vary by product or project though the main goal is to use the product that would give the most benefits to a project. Longevity for us is important because for example if you must repaint the exterior of your home every 2 years then the environmental impact would be higher than using a product that last over 10.

Sustainability, quality and performance go hand in hand, having quality product that have great performance and longevity are important to us, by using sustainable products we hope to help reduce our impacts, while building green for a better future.

What is Cork Spray?

Cork Spray is a patented eco-coating system for buildings that protects them from the weather and will prevent degradation from environmental factors, manufactured with natural cork, styrene-acrylic resins in water-base, and other additives.

The cork that goes into our product is the waste product of making wine corks, so the remaining cork is ground into smaller pieces to make things like corkboard and soles for shoes and can also be mixed to make the cork spray
